Art of the day 1432

I stopped to do the math and looked for my first artwork, shugyosha # 01, to check the date I started. I couldn’t believe that I’ve already made 1,000 artworks under the name shugyosha. How time flew. One thousand felt like such a big number, so distant, so magical. But now that it’s here, right in front of me, I see that it’s just a number. What truly mattered were the moments of each day when I stopped and dedicated myself to painting. Every artwork I make adds more life to my life — that is what’s truly magical.
